I was nervous about the career change at first, but it has actually been a fairly natural transition. It’s energizing to work side by side with designers and other creative people to come up with kick-ass concepts and unique ways of sell our Las Vegas hotel casino properties. We have a lot of exciting projects coming down the line, including a cool new thrill ride campaign for the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower. In 2010, I celebrated my new job as their Senior Copywriter by jumping off of it. SkyJump Las Vegas at the Stratosphere is the world’s tallest controlled freefall. Jumpers leap from the tower’s 108th floor falling 805 feet at more than 45 mph. It’s a Vegas thrill, with strings attached! Video (made by my husband) follows:
