Walk like a Freeman

My husband, son and I will be walking in the Aid for Aids of Nevada (AFAN) AIDS Walk Las Vegas 2010 on April 25.

This year will be the 20th that AFAN has sponsored the walk. According to AFAN, “Each day, someone becomes infected every 15 seconds. In the next 10 years, 45 million adults and children will die of AIDS. In the next 20, 75 million will die. In Clark County, an estimated 8,000 cases of HIV/AIDS have been reported.”

You can learn more about our fund-raising goals on our donation page or you can join our team and walk with us. The more the merrier! The walk starts and ends at the World Market Center in downtown Las Vegas, and the whole event only takes a few hours.
